Six Departments One Purpose
Our team is diverse, supportive, kind, and driven. We have opportunities in six distinct departments, each with the same student-centric mission and commitment to serving the public.
Operations
The Operations team focuses on information technology, project management and facilities. They respond to the immediate and long-term needs of the organization, which range from strategic IT infrastructure to the implementation of new business processes and systems, while ensuring seamless operational facility management.
Risk Management
The Risk Management team ensures South Carolina Student Loan is compliant with state and federal laws and regulations. The team also provides internal auditing and risk assessment services, as well as compliance and legislative consultation to senior leadership.
Human Resources
The Human Resources department at South Carolina Student Loan is more than payroll and benefits administration. This team is deeply committed to fostering a healthy, inclusive, high-performing work culture where everyone can excel.
Financial Services
The Financial Services team ensures the financial stability of the organization by overseeing accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance and other key functions of the organization. This team provides valuable financial insight and support so that we can meet our mission.
Loan Programs
The Loan Programs team functions as the voice and face of South Carolina Student Loan. They serve as trusted advisers by educating families and students about funding options for higher education. The team also helps determine how best to communicate the benefits of our products and services.
Power:Ed
Power:Ed, the philanthropic arm of South Carolina Student Loan, is dedicated to creating opportunities for South Carolinians by supporting low-income, minority, and first-generation students, improving access to college, and creating pathways to quality workforce opportunities.
